Hair Loss Transplants

Five hair loss transplant methods:

Follicular Unit Extraction
The best choice for hair transplant surgery. It includes grafts of 1-4 hairs that are placed into receptor sites. It has quite equal distribution of hairs, which looks more natural and no scarring on your scalp. It is typically performed with only a local anesthetic.

Mini & Micrografting
This hair transplant procedure is a cheaper option and could be done in fewer sessions than many other procedures. The cost is reduced for the reason that it uses larger grafts of up to 8 hairs, but it can cause a wound that takes longer to heal.

Strip Incision
This is an old hair loss transplant method where small strips of hair are transplanted from one area to another. It has regularly been replaced with mini and micrografting, since it does not engage making an incision.

Laser Grafting
During this procedure the graft receptor sites are made with a laser. This method scars the scalp and the majority of hair specialists don’t find any advantages to this method.

Punch Grafts
Grafts contain up to 20 hairs. This does not give a natural appearance to the hair and besides cost there are no valid advantages to this hair loss transplant method.
