Long Messy Hair

This messy look is for longer hair.

Begin with using a setting gel on wet hair and dry with a diffuser. If you have very straight hair, use a small number of hot rollers to get the texture that is necessary for this look; simply roll them halfway up in 2-inch sections.

Your hair should be now roughed-up. Pull it back into a ponytail and secure with a covered elastic band. Instead of a brush to comb, use your fingers to give even more texture.

Next, divide the ponytail into 4, 5 or 6 sections. This will depend on how much hair you have to work with.

Wind up every section, creating a sphere-shaped, flowerlike form. Use bobby pins to secure the ends.

To finish this long messy hair look, use a mist of hairspray.
