How to Curl Hair with Rollers

Using hot rollers is one of the easiest ways to create curly hair. Here are tips on how to curl hair with rollers.

- Your must be completely dry before rolling.

- Split your hair into 3 sections on the top of your head and each of the 2 sides.

- Before rolling, spritz every section with little medium-hold hairspray. Alternatively you can use a styling lotion. Avoid maximum-hold hairspray at this time.

- Position the roller below one hair section, wrap ends around it and then start rolling in an upward motion in the direction of the scalp.

- Finish the top sections first, and then do the sides and back.

- Leave hot rollers on your head for at least ten to 20 minutes.

- As soon as the rollers have cooled down completely, use a blow dryer on your head for several minutes.

- When removing the rollers, remove the clip first and then slowly unwind the hair.

- Use your fingers to style your hair. Now you can apply a maximum hold hairspray.

Follow these instructions and your hair is curly! This how-to manual will not be comprehensive without a few roller tips.

If you make use of hot rollers frequently, you should use a deep conditioning treatment every now and then to protect your hair from the heat damage.

Do not use a brush or comb to style your curly hair; always finger comb your hair.
