How to create a messy updo:

- Put on a heavy-weight styling product on wet hair; it can be pomade or a mouse.

- Blow dry your hair upside down. To get even more volume, hold your head upside down and spritz hair with hairspray.

- Pull hair to the top of your head. Pull hair half way through the elastic; wrap elastic around that section of your hair.

- Next you need to take small, thin strands of hair and pull out. You should create different lengths all around. If you want you can curl these strands or leave them straight.

- Use a waxing product to divide the hair pieces.

- Spray with hairspray.

The messy updo hair style is great for wedding day hair style.
