Think about bouncy bouffants and beehives. (A bouffant is a type of hairstyle where hair is piled high on the head and hanging down on the sides. The beehive is a woman’s hairstyle that resembles a beehive.)
In essence, retro hair dos have been reborn with a new modern twist. Stop thinking about the easy wash ‘n’ wear hair styles of recent years.
Current haircuts concentrate on style and detail. Think about higher maintenance hair.
A good example is Annette Funicello. These large updated ’50s hair dos will be popular this fall. However, in fall 2007, they are natural-looking, funky and flexible.
When it comes to hair color, fall 2007 trends will see the hot color moving to brunette;
dark, rich solid colors will be hot this fall.
And highlights will be very natural, copper, subtle and blended. No chunks or striping.
