Unlike straight bangs which help a narrow face look wider, long side swept bangs make a wide face look narrow.
How to style long, side-swept bangs at home:
To create piecey ringlets, mist 1-inch sections of hair with light-hold hairspray; next, curl one-inch sections for fifteen seconds with a wide-barrel curling iron.
Spray the front 2 inches of hair with hairspray and wrap it around a two-inch Velcro roller, turning away from your face as you roll.
Use roller pins to secure for 5 minutes.
Unwind and sweep bangs on top of one eye.
To keep hair in place, spritz the palm of your hand with hairspray and cup your bangs into place.
Side swept bangs work great for long or thin face shapes. Have your bangs cut to just one side if you want to downplay or sharpen your facial features.
