Wet hair styles are going to be a big trend in 2012!
Most hairstyles seen on the runway presentations for Spring-Summer 2012, including the Alexander Wang, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Helmut Lang, Victoria Beckham, Prabal Gurung and Rag + Bon runways, were wet looks.

Wet-look styles will look best on women with naturally straight or somewhat wavy hair. According to Guido, this ‘just out of the shower’ look can be easily achieved at home.
Some models at Prabal Gurung and Victoria Beckham showcased a variation on the look – hair on the crown was slicked back, but dry in the back.
With this variation (it may not be for everyone), it is important that you do not use a product that only keeps the hold for a few hours because then you just look undone.
