Instructions for Different Hairstyles
Different hairstyles put emphasis on different features. For this reason you must know what you want because not all hair styles work for every person.
Change the way you look with these haircuts by following simple instructions and tips.
- Pompadour bun: The most important feature of this hairstyle is height, which creates the illusion that your face is longer and slimmer. Lift a section of your hair at your hairline and comb roots downward using a fine-tooth comb. Repeat the process using sections along your crown. Finally, pull your hair into a bun and secure with an elastic. To prevent backcoming from showing up, you should avoid teasing the front of your hairline.
- Middle parts: If your face is round or square, middle part hairstyles have a tendency to elongate your features and slim your face. If you want a straight part, comb hair back using a fine-tooth rattail comb and then push hair to one side with the pointy tip to separate sections.
- Straight, glossy hair: To combat frizz, get strands sleek by combing a thermal spray through wet hair and blowing it dry in small sections. Move a flat iron over sections from roots to ends to add shine and straighten remaining waves. Use a mixed-bristle brush.
- Long Waves: Spritz wet hair with a spray; remove moisture with a blow dryer; using a wide-barrel curling iron, create 15 to 20 curls around your head. Put serum on your fingers and run them through tendrils in order to break them apart, add shine and prevent frizz. Exchange the direction of each section and vary the width of each piece from half an inch to 1 inch.
- Middle Hair Up: This hairstyle looks fresh and youthful. Pull back the section of your hair that lines up between the arches of your eyebrows. Secure in place with a thin barrette or bobby pin. To add more height to the front section, push hair closer to the hairline before anchoring into place.
