Premature Gray Hair in Women

Gray hair is a natural and unavoidable part of aging. However, premature hair graying is not.

It is called premature graying when it happens before the age of 20 in Caucasians and before the age of 30 in Africans and Asians.

Causes of Premature Gray Hair

- In most cases it is genetically determined.
- It can be a sign of disease (hormonal imbalance, malnutrition, autoimmune disorders, deficiency of Vitamin B12, iron, copper and iodine.
- Emotions such as tension, anxiety, grief, stress.
- Cigarette smoking.
- Certain drugs, herbs and supplements (Vitamin E) could cause premature gray hair.

Help for Premature Gray Hair

The first step is to discover the underlying cause of the disorder and then try to treat it.
If the reason is anything except genes, the condition could be reversed by drugs.
You can also try alternative treatment methods.

Consume iron-rich foods, minerals, Vitamins A and B, fresh juice, foods rich in iodine (carrots, bananas and fish).

Women can also try home remedies for premature hair graying:

1. Ingredients you will need:

1 teaspoon yogurt
1 teaspoon fenugreek seed powder
2 teaspoons henna powder
2 teaspoons basil juice
3 teaspoons coffee
3 teaspoons mint juice.

Mix all these into a fine paste and apply to the scalp and hair. Wash with shampoo after 2 hours.

2. Rub dried and powdered Amla fruit onto the scalp.

3. Massage your hair with coconut oil and lime juice every day.
