How to Make a Homemade Hair Conditioner
There are lots of great hair conditioners available at stores or salons. But you can also make effective, and more affordable, hair conditioners at home.
Some homemade conditioner recipes contain dozens of ingredients and you need more time to learn how to make them, while some of them only have one or two ingredients, and take little time to prepare.
OK, let’s learn how to make simple homemade hair conditioners following simple instructions and tips.
Homemade deep hair conditioners:
1. Damp your hair and apply a thick layer of mayonnaise to your hair. Using a comb with wide tooth, comb the mayonnaise through your hair. Leave the mayonnaise on your hair for 20 minutes and then shampoo.
2. You will need a small jar of mayonnaise and half of an avocado. Put them in a bowl. Smash and mix them together until they are smooth. Apply the mixture to your unwashed hair. Place a plastic shower cap on your head and leave for 20 minutes. Finally, shampoo your hair, making sure to wash out all of the mixture.
Homemade hair conditioner for oily hair:
Mix together half a cup of watercress and 1 cup of water. Blend until the mixture is smooth. Next, boil it for 10 minutes. Strain out the watercress and let the liquid cool. Wash your hair and apply the liquid directly over your head. Leave in for 20 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Homemade conditioner for dry hair:
85ml olive oil
70ml vegetable oil
70ml honey
Mix the ingredients together and heat until just boiling. Cool the mixture for five minutes, and then transfer to a 570ml plastic spray bottle. Spray some of the conditioner onto your hair and rub it in. Wrap your head in a warm, damp towel and leave it for 60 minutes. Shampoo and wash your hair as usual.
