How to Thin Out Thick Hair


Thick hair tends to grow wide as well as long. It can poof out as you put it.

Here are a few tips and instructions on how to thin out your thick hair.

- Thinning scissors are used by salons to thin out hair.

- Wash it with a shampoo for dry and damaged hair.

- Use Paul Mitchell’s shampoo and conditioner called “super skinny”; it will make your hair look and feel about 50% thinner.

- Some types of haircuts create the illusion of thinner hair. Ask your hair stylist.

- Cut you hair into layers. Layering makes your hair thicker, and so does razor cutting.

- Straightening your hair and using gels can make your hair appear thinner.

- To thin out your hair get your hair cut with texturizing scissors.

- Here is a recipe that works for some people. Completely soak your hair in mayo and leave it in for five hours each day for a week.

Keep in mind that having thick hair is better than having thin hair because if you begin losing your hair you have lots to lose before you have a problem.
