Cynthia Nixon is well known for her short, fiery red hair, but now Sex & the City’s Miranda Hobbes has gone bald.
The 45-year-old actress appeared on the morning talk show “Live with Kelly,” and explained that she shaved her hair for her latest role in the Broadway show Wit.
Cynthia plays poetry professor Vivian Bearing, who’s diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She knows very well what it is like to battle the disease since she was diagnosed with early stages of breast cancer in 2006.
Now cancer free, Nixon said about her newly-bald head, “I thought it was kind of going to be no muss-no fuss, but I have to shave it every day! I like it, but I don’t think I’m gonna keep it forever.”
