Different Hair Styles for Men

Men hairstyles are just as much in demand than women! Men’s hairstyles can be styled so many different ways.

Needless to say, different hair types require different hair styles for men. Let’s take a look in the past and today.

- The classic businessman’s cut

This is a failsafe hairstyle. The sides and back are moderately short and the top has an adequate amount of hair to be brushed back or parted. It can be modified to make it up to date but still preserve its classicism.

- The feathered’70s

Men in this era started to wear their hair a little longer - the feathered, shoulder-length style. Think about John Travolta in “Saturday Night Fever”.

- The’80s bouffant

In this era, hair started to become voluminous and fluffy. Think about George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley of Wham.

- The Caesar cut

In the late’90s, this style was popularized by George Clooney. It is characterized by short, horizontally cut straight bangs.

- The well-known faux-hawk

This is a discreet, shorter version of a Mohawk. It was popularized by David Beckham, Jude Law and Ryan Seacrest.

- Emo shag with bangs

It combines the mod style of the’60s, the shag look of the’70s and modern emo flair. It is popularized by Tom Cruise and Zac Efron.
