Hair Cuts for Older Women

Beauty does not disappear as we get older. However, there are some things that should be done.

Hairstyles for mature women should follow this general rule: “The older you get, the lighter you go.”

Dark hair is not a good choice for old women, as it gives emphasis to lines and shadows.

But you do not have to go blond, but add warmth to your hair.

Haircuts should have some highlights, especially close to the face. This will brighten the facial appearance and visually soften any lines on the face.

Also, bangs are great as we get older. They are doing a fantastic job of hiding a large or wrinkled forehead and a receding hairline.

Short bangs, helmet head and stiff up-dos look inappropriate at 40 and older.
