2008 Spring Hair Trends

Spring has arrived and many women are thinking about changing their look. New season needs a fresh start and it can be done with these latest hair trends.

Freshening up your look can be a simple change. You can add some soft highlights or shorten your hair length a bit.

If you don’t want to change your style, you can change your color - it could be soft, subtle highlights or lowlights.

The dominant trendy choice for this spring is an updated version of the bob. “Tweaked” bobs and razor cut styles are this year’s trendiest cuts with the shattered bob being one of the most popular styles.

Other trendy cuts for this spring are the asymmetrical bob (longer on one side) and the beveled bob (shorter in back and longer in the front).

Another trend in hair styles is the no-fuss do. You blow dry your hair straight, make it piecy.

For longer hair, there are several trends for spring as well. Shorter layers atop length is a popular look right now. Equally are softer, longer bangs.

When it comes to latest hair color trends, color blocking is a new craze. No streaks of blended color but different layers of color. For example, you can have a blond top layer and a dark brown underlayer.
