- Wash your hair every day with conditioner. Before drying your hair comb it. When it is dry comb it again. Do not use too much hair gel or tie your hair in fancy dos.

- Have you your hair trimmed. This is the best way to renew a fading perm. You can try the ‘Fresh Curls’ line from Redken; it is designed for both permed and naturally curly hair. There is Spin Control, a leave-in treatment that adds shine and definition to your curl. Curl Boost is a light spray gel designed for scrunching.

- Do hot oil massages. Use more conditioner than shampoo. Do weekly henna conditioning treatments. Set with mousse not gel.

- You can use hair mask as conditioner.
