How Much to Tip Hairdresser
Restaurants, spas and hotels are not the only places that require you to leave a tip. You should also tip your hairdresser.
But how much do you tip a hairdresser?
The standard tip expected in a hair salon is 15 to 20 percent.
If more than one person is doing your hair, for example one person to cut and another to color your hair, you need to split the total tip between them.
If a different person rinses out the color or washes your hair, you should give them two to five dollars.
As a side note, you should also give 15 to 20 percent when receiving a massage or manicure.
