Gray Hair Transition

For Women Going Gray Hair

The gray hair is not so bad if it is all over, but it can be frustrating if it’s coming through in clumps.

The in-between phase is harder to deal with than full-on gray hair.

If you decide to color your hair it can be counterproductive, because it can make it look flat and lifeless.

In addition, going back to the shade you had when you were young can be very ageing.

However, going gray isn’t an easy decision. Here are some tips to help you with gray hair transition.

The first way to transition from colored hair to gray is to cut it short (if the hair is long or a medium length). This way the gray hair doesn’t take so long to grow in.

The simplest transition is to have heavy highlights in blond, silver or gray. New growth will blend with the highlights.

The highlights will act as a bridge between the black and gray and, in doing so, make the gray stand out less.
