When you have a round face it means that your face is symmetrical. In other words, the length and width of your face are about the same. It also means that your face is wide through the center and that you have a round hairline and chin.

Choose a hairstyle that will slim and lengthen your face. This can easily be done if you create height at the crown of your head and keep the sides close to your face.

The best hair length is below the chin. Try longer hairstyles close to your face together with a center part. If you have a very short hairstyle, change your part to a side part.

Your forehead should be uncovered. If you love bangs, make them long and side-swept with wispy ends. Style them asymmetrically and wear them off your face.

Avoid blunt, heavy bangs because they will put emphasis on your face’s roundness. A very good idea is layering to remove fullness from the sides of your face.

You should also avoid curly hairstyles. In case your hair is naturally curly, keep it long and one length.

Stay away from one length cuts like chin length bobs. If you still want a bob, then you should angle the sides. Also, do not pull your hair back if the hairstyle is flat at the top.
