Best Cities to Regrow Hair

A new study from the makers of Rogaine ranks the best U.S. cities to regrow hair.

The top 3 cities for regrowing hair in the study were Miami and Jacksonville, Fla. and Birmingham, Ala.

However, hair style centers like Los Angeles, CA (no. 31) and New York, NY (no. 21) failed to enter into the top 10.

The cities were ranked according to such resources as barbershops per capita, number of hair regrowth clinics and sales of hair restoration products.

Each of the top three cities had a high concentration of doctors focusing on hair restoration.

A survey included 1,159 men, ages 18 to 54.

Top ten cities to regrow hair:

1. Jacksonville, FL
2. Miami, FL
3. Birmingham, AL
4. Oklahoma City, OK
5. Louisville, KY
6. San Jose, CA
7. Hartford, CT
8. Tampa, FL
9. Buffalo, NY
10. Las Vegas, NV

The ten worst cities for regrowing hair, according to the 50-city survey, were:

41. Sacramento, CA.;
42. Portland, OR.;
43. Washington, D.C.;
44. Dallas, TX;
45. Rochester, N.Y.;
46. Providence, RI.;
47. Richmond, VA.;
48. Pittsburgh, PA;
49. Columbus, OH;
50. Riverside, CA.
