6 Types of Hair Styling Brushes

Here are six brushes that will help you styling your hair.

1. Standard rectangular brush is great for short, straight hairstyles.

2. Round brush is used to create volume and lift for fine hair.

3. Vent brush is also used to create volume. The big advantage is that the vent pattern lets air to flow through.

4. Boar-bristle brush is excellent for smoothing hair. It is a brush that should be used if you have coarse hair.

5. Flat-paddle brush is used for straightening hair.

6. Ceramic plate brush is good for straightening and smoothing hair.

Remember not to use hair styling brushes on wet hair; brushing wet hair can cause hair breakage. Use a comb when wet.
