How to Do a Chignon

Having a long hair and don’t know what to do with it? Try a chignon.

This is a favorite hair style among fashionable women. Chignon or the modern bun is an elegant look that has been made popular on the red carpet.

It’s very easy to create. You can make a chignon even if you have semi-long hair. Here are tips on how to do a chignon:

- Don’t wash your hair for a day.

- Decide what type of part you want. It can be a side part or a center part.

- Brush your hair out so it’s smooth.

- Gather your hair into a ponytail; don’t make it too tight. Make the ponytail low at the nape of your neck

- Split your ponytail in two parts.

- Twist them both tightly into a spiral.

- Next, you need to curl the twisted ponytail into a bun. Start the base of your ponytail. You can do this by twisting the twisted ponytail.

- Secure chignon with hairpins.

- Finish with hairspray, pomade, or smoothing serum.

The chignon is a wonderful hairstyle for special occasions. It shows off your neck and shoulders.
