Women who dye their hair blonde are more confident than those who keep their natural color. In addition, they get a boost in feelings of attractiveness to men and get more sex.
This is the conclusion of a study conducted by a team of experts linked to Nottingham Trent University.
It was also discovered that artificial blondes are more likely to ask someone out on a date, sing and dance in front of strangers or talk about a pay rise with their boss.
Dr Mark Sergeant, who led the team, said: “The changes we noted in the study in participants behavior and psychology were significant.”
The Nice ’n Easy study was commissioned by Clairol. It involved 205 women aged between 25 and 66.
More than 50% said they colored their hair to “get attention” from strangers or “be noticed” by friends and colleagues.
