When winter arrives, it’s time to consider change for your hair. You can try new hair styles or start using different hair care products.

Winter Hair Styles

Two popular looks this season include:

- Long bob that falls just above the shoulders. Many celebrities have been seen lately with longer, layered bobs.

- Glamorous updos for holiday parties. Messy updos are hot right now.

Next, go for darker hair color. Replace the blonde highlights with warm, rich colors. Blondes can go a shade or two darker. If you are a brunette, choose deep auburn highlights. Also, face framing highlights will still be in style this season.

Winter Hair Care Tips

During the cold winter days, your hair needs extra care. Follow these tips to have healthy hair this season:

- Use a moisturizing shampoo to provide your hair with lots of moisture.

- You should use a conditioner (at least on your ends) on a daily basis.

- Always make sure your hair is completely dry before going outside to prevent damage. Wet hair + freezing temperatures = hair breakage.

- Wear a hat or headscarf when going outdoors. Winter hats are fashionable at the moment.
