Fine hair often dries out during winter months, leading to split ends.
This is normal because, like your skin, hair becomes dry in cold weather. In addition, hairdryers and straighteners aggravate the problem.
If you find yourself in this situation, use a treatment masque to replenish the moisture in your hair and to stop split ends.
First shampoo your hair as usual, and then apply a masque and leave on for about 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
A really good product for fine hair is Kérastase Nutritive Masquintense.
Another one is John Frieda Frizz-Ease Overnight Repair Crème Serum. Apply it before going to bed, and give the serum 8 hours to work.
Use it on a regular basis, and you will markedly improve the condition of your hair.
You cam always try a simple home remedy – olive oil. Heat it in the microwave for about 30 seconds and rub it into your hair and scalp. Leave for about 3 hours.
