What Can Cause Damage to Hair?



Almost all women want great hair. But in the quest for beauty they are often causing damage to their hair.

Here are 8 ways you can damage your hair:

1. Over-shampooing. If you shampoo your hair too often, you will wash away the hair’s natural moisture that keeps it healthy. Wash your hair when it gets dull.

2. Over-brushing. It can cause split ends and breakage. Cheap brushes are not good either.

3. Highlights and coloring. They are damaging only when you do them frequently. Too much of them cause a dull look and dryness.

4. Blow-drying and flat iron. Damage can be done if you blow dry or iron every day.

5. Perms.  They weaken your hair, leaving it dull, dry and damaged over time.

6. Bleaching. It makes hair very susceptible to damage. Bleach makes hair weaker.

7. Ponytails and braids. They can cause hair to break if your style is pulled tightly every day.

8. Extensions and weaves. They can leave hair broken and brittle over time. Damage is done at the hair roots.
