Did you hear about caramel hair treatment? It is a product in the E’tae product line.
The product includes natural ingredients such as honey, bananas, olive oil, etc.
Allegedly, it is a natural way to straighten your hair without the damaging chemicals of a relaxer.
You hair will be healthier, thicker, and grow much faster, according to ladies who tried the treatment. You will also increase shine, moisture and body to your hair. It will be softer too.
The caramel hair treatment doesn’t make your hair straight but when you do put heating products to it will become straight and soft.
The results of the caramel hair treatment are not permanent; it is recommended to do it every six to eight weeks. However, doing it more often will not damage your hair. It also works like a conditioner.
Keep in mind, however, that it will not work for every woman. Some tried the caramel treatment and did not notice any considerable difference in their hair.
You can make your own caramel hair treatment. You will need:
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup wheatgerm oil
1/4 cup shea butter
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup Apple cider vinegar
3.5 oz banana baby food or 2 overripe bananas
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup molasses
water (as needed to thin)
Put all in a blender and blend well. It should be a caramel cream look and consistency. Apply to your hair, starting with the roots and then move on all the way to the ends.
Cover the hair with a plastic cap and leave on for a couple hours. Rinse out, shampoo and deep condition. Freeze the remainder until you want to use it again.
