Testing Freeze Hair Sprays

Most freeze hair sprays promise a firm hold but many are not able to fight even the slightest breeze or hint of moisture in the air.

Three freezing sprays have been putted to the test by ajc.com to find out whether there was much difference among them. A few similarities were also noticed – they left hair soft and washed out easily.

Freeze hair sprays tested include:

1. Paul Mitchell Freeze and Shine Super Spray.  Has the best fragrance of the three, gives your hair some extra shine, it’s more expensive than the other two tested. Conclusion: It’s good but doesn’t quite stand up to the best.

2. Freeze It Mega Freeze Hair Spray by Key Brands. Curls stay intact in humid weather and in a blast of wind; hair looks natural; costs far less than the other two tested; offers a little extra shine to your hair; the wettest of the three sprays tested. Conclusion: Really good.

3. Aura Lavender Ultra Firm Freezing Spray. Offers a fairly firm hold, but within an hour, your hair will droop. Scent is not very pleasant. Conclusion: Good if you don’t mind your freeze thawing long before the day is over.
