Rating: B. Very pleasant scent. Makes hair softer and shinier. You will notice fewer hairs on your brush. Cost: $4.39 for a 10.2-ounce jar.

3. Yes to Carrots, C is for Hair Care Hair & Scalp Moisturizing Mud Mask

Rating: A. Hair looks healthier. It’s also softer, shinier and more manageable. Cost: $12.99 for 8.45 ounces.

4. Carol’s Daughter Khoret Amen Hair Smoothie

Rating: A. Helps feed the need for moisture. It makes hair feeling silky. The conditioner smells good, too. Cost: $19 for 8 ounces.
