New Hair Trends for 2009

Red is hot color for this year – from subdued copper tones to more vibrant reds. Chunky stripes or highlights from last two years will now move toward full panels of color.

Also, the trendy color will be the peroxide blonde sported by supermodel Kate Moss.

When it comes to hairstyles, the popular hair cut for women in 2009 is short and cropped, but still soft and feminine.

The bob hair cut is still in fashion in 2009. It will be more of a textured, shag style.

Regarding a long hair style there are three options: 1) wearing it in a heavily voluminous fashion, 2) sleek and straight and 3) 1940s waves with side-part.

Wavy and curly, styled hair will be also in trend this year.
