How to Blowout Hair

Salon blowout is expensive beauty procedure for many women, especially in these tough economic times.

Luckily, you could be blow-drying like a pro at home if you follow these tips.

- Using a wide tooth comb, evenly distribute a blow-dry product to your hair.

- Blow-dry hair on high heat until 80 percent dry. Always work from the scalp to the ends. Use your fingers to circulate heat throughout the hair.

- Next, clip hair into three parts: one in the back and two on the sides.

- Use the nozzle to blow-dry each part 1 inch at a time. Use a thick, medium-sized boar bristle brush and low heat for each part and begin drying hair at the scalp and then go down to the mid-length of hair. Once you dry the mid-length, finish the ends.

- To finish the style, touch up each part with a flat iron.

- Spritz on a shine spray for luster and a polished look.
