Two different hairstyle trends were observed on the spring/summer 2009 catwalks: sculpted hairstyles and 2 in 1 hair.
Examples of sculpted hair are voluptuous, bouffant cloud of an updo and a bow hairdo.
The problem with these styles is that they are difficult to replicate at home. You should go to your local salon and get a stylist to show you how to do it.
The asymmetric bun is particularly in fashion this season. This look is easy to do at home.
The good thing with learning to do sculptural hairdos (a bun or a beehive) is that you can have a different hairstyle each and every day.
Another hot trend that was featured on the runways is 2 in 1 hair.
It means: slicking back half of your hair to create a ‘wet look’ style, while leaving the rest of your hair dry and loose, ready to be shaped into a low ponytail.
This look is simple and stylish, and can work for day and night.
