Sun Hair Care with Aveda

It is well-known that sun, salt and chlorine can be very damaging to the hair.

Now, Aveda introduces a new system with UV protection called Sun Care to help cleanse, protect and restore hair. And there are no harsh chemicals often found in sun hair care products.

What is so unique about Aveda’s Sun Care system? It offers hair protection from sun exposure for up to 16 hours.

Aveda Sun Care consists of three parts:

1. Hair and Body Cleanser

Use it to gently yet effectively remove chlorine, salt, and product residue from your hair and body while helping to maintain moisture balance. Apply on wet hair and body, work into a creamy lather and rinse.

2. Protective Hair Veil

It is a lightweight, water-resistant, UV-defense spray that provides invisible protection from sun exposure for up to 16 hours. Helps minimize color fadage, damage and dryness.
Spray on dry or damp hair before and during sun-exposure. Reapply after swimming.
For use on damp hair: spray evenly; comb for even distribution. For use on dry hair: spray lightly for even distribution. Start with small amount and layer as needed.

3. After-Sun Hair Masque

It is an intensive cream masque that moisturizes and restores sun-exposed hair. After shampooing with Hair and Body Cleanser, apply masque evenly to damp hair from roots to ends. Leave in 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
