Caring for Your Summer Hairstyle

Do you enjoy being on the beach and having a fun? I know, I know, we all enjoy spending summer time on the beach.

However, your hair needs extra care in summer – heat, salt water, and chlorine tend to dry out hair. As a result, your hair becomes flat and full of static.

That is not all. On rainy days, when humidity increases, your hair can get frizzy. In addition, the sun’s UV rays can make your hair porous and weak and fade your highlights.

Here are some solutions:

- Use a gentle shampoo with ceramide. This lipid will strengthen overly washed hair. Try Kérastase Bain Après-Soleil.

- Use a product with UV filters to block the sun. Try Warren-Tricomi Protect Organic Hair Shield. Just comb it in while you’re at the beach or pool.

- Use KMS California Flatout Anti-Humidity Seal to prevent swelling in wet weather.

- You also must keep color from turning orange or brassy. Once a week use Clairol Nice ‘N Easy Colorseal Conditioning Gloss.
