Using Coffee to Darken Hair

How to Dye Hair With Coffee

- two tablespoons of ground coffee
- 1/2 teaspoon of clove powder
- one cup of water to brew it.

Let the coffee cool and then mix with an ounce of conditioner in a honey bear squeeze bottle.

Pour this on in the shower on your wet, clean hair, rub it in, and then rinse it out about ten minutes later.

The effects would be more dramatic if you put the coffee in your hair longer than 10 minutes.

I just finished doing this. I was hoping to darken my already dyed brunette/auburn hair. its still wet, but looks a little darker. I tripled the recipe for my long thick hair, but it still seems to be working. It didn’t change my roots though, oh well. :)
