Side Parting Hairstyles are Popular Again

Old centre parting hair styles are not in trend this summer.

Side parting hairstyles – left and right – are back.

Ear-ward side partings are great for adding a tougher, more dramatic look.

According to a celebrity hair stylist Tara Smith:

“The new extreme side-parting should be clean, very straight and about halfway between the ear and the natural centre of your head.”

Here is how to side part your hair:

First you need to section off the hair at one side. It can be left or right side. Use a pintail comb for this task.

Now, slick down the part just above the ear by applying a strong holding product.

To finish the look, take the rest of your hair to the other side and tong it.
