There is one thing guys must know before they start selecting between various new hairstyles in order to find a hair style that will look great on them.

To find the best hairstyles, you should determine your face shape. Specific hairstyles best suit specific face shapes.

- Oval Face: You can wear just about any hairstyle you want.

- Round Face: Choose a style that will make your face look thinner - an off center part or the addition of more hair on the top and sides.

- Triangular Face: Find a hairstyle that does not enhance the pointed chin. Select a style that is closely cropped at the crown and near the temples; the hair should grow a little longer in the back.

- Oblong/Rectangular Face: Choose a style where the hairline is not exposed. Layered cuts are usually the best option with the hair cut lower on the top and the sides fuller.

- Square Face: Keep your sides fuller. Pick a squared off messy look for the top of the head or keep it as simple as a flat top. Longer hair is also a good option.

- Square/Rectangular Face: Go for a square style, but add messy bangs.
