There is a very interesting story in yesterday’s Telegraph titled “Blondes take longer than brunettes to get ready”.
Goody hair care conducted a survey and here is what they found:
Blondes will spend 72 minutes every day on their beauty routine. On the other hand, brunettes will need 66 minutes.
This means that blondes are spending 22 days a year getting ready, while brunettes spend 19 days.
The reason for this is that “blondes have to work a little harder than brunettes to achieve the same standard of shine, as fair hair doesn’t reflect light to the same extent.”
The study of 3,000 women found that blondes spend 14 minutes a day just on their hair.
The article, which you can read here, concluded with this discovery:
“And brunettes are more likely to leave the house without any of their hair and make up being done.”
