Tips to Prevent Hair Breakage

Hair breakage is a widespread problem – about 41% of US women suffer from this condition on a daily basis.

The best news about hair breakage is that it can be prevented. Once you know what causes this problem, it is easy to prevent it.

Main causes include improper use of chemical treatments (colors, perms and relaxers), heat styling (blow dryers, flat irons and curling irons).

However, bad hair care practices are not the only causes of hair breakage. Poor diet, health, immune system, stress or environmental surroundings can also lead to it.

Tips to Prevent Hair Breakage

- Use a good shampoo with vitamins and minerals that provide strengthening of the hair.

- Your diet should include vegetables and fruits that are rich in vitamins and minerals. Especially increase your vitamin E intake.

- Do not tie your in a ponytail or wear a hat all the time. You hair should be free most of the time.
