How to Keep Hair Healthy During the Summer Months

• Use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner a few times a week.

How to Get Rid of Chlorine in Hair

The green hair or "swimmer's hair" that develops from exlinlsposure to chlorine is related to the copper found in the water.

Condition your hair before swimming in chlorinated water.

6 ways for removing chlorine from hair:

1. Use anti-chlorine shampoo and conditioner.

2. Use lemon juice to rinse the hair after swimming.

3. Rinse with club soda immediately after swimming.

4. Dissolve 5 aspirin in a cup of white vinegar or warm water, let sit for 5 minutes, rinse.

5. Wash your hair with normal shampoo; add baking soda to it to make a paste; leave it on for five minutes; wash again with regular shampoo.

6. If it is very green try adding a little tomato ketchup to the shampoo.
